The Woof Lodge: Where Dogs Dream of Luxury
At Alair Homes, we pride ourselves on creating custom living spaces for our clients, and now, we’re bringing that same level of care and craftsmanship to the Bark & Build SNIP Collier fundraiser and The Ultimate Dog House Challenge, a fun and lively event benefiting SNIP Collier—an organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in Collier County. We’re thrilled to be part of this exciting challenge, which brings together some of Naples’ best and brightest creative minds from the real estate industry to design and build unique, custom dog houses. We’re barking up the right tree by joining in!
About Bark & Build: The Ultimate Dog House Challenge
Bark & Build features nine incredibly talented teams, each tasked with designing and building a one-of-a-kind custom dog house. Comprising an architect, builder, interior designer, and real estate agent, these teams will go head-to-head for the coveted Best in Show title and, of course, the highest bid. The unique dog houses will be up for grabs at a live auction during the SNIP Collier Annual Gala. While some may be pre-sold, the remaining stunning creations will be available for bidding at the event, offering a chance to own a piece of this exciting competition!

The Woof Lodge: A Dog House Like No Other
Meet The Woof Lodge, the dog house of dreams, built by none other than the masters of custom craftsmanship at Alair Homes. This isn’t your average dog house. This is a luxury retreat for your furry friend. Featuring:
- An in-ground pool—because who says your dog can’t have a poolside lounge?
- Real framed walls, because even a dog house deserves a little real estate flair.
- A durable metal roof—because nothing says “stylish and functional” like a shiny, sleek roof.
- A delightful pergola to provide some shady vibes on those sunny days.
- Turf for the perfect faux lawn—no grass stains here!
Measuring 8×8 feet, The Woof Lodge offers ample space for your four-legged family member to stretch out, relax, and enjoy their very own slice of luxury. We’ve even made sure that our dog house is the height of style (pun intended). Check out a few pictures of the Alair team in action as we build The Woof Lodge.

We couldn’t have built The Woof Lodge without an incredible team of talented professionals. Here’s a little about our dream team:
Alair Homes – Builder: As the builder of The Woof Lodge, we bring our commitment to craftsmanship and luxury custom home building to the world of dog houses. We put in the same level of care, precision, and attention to detail that goes into our custom homes, only this time, it’s for Fido. You can trust that this dog house is built to last (and to impress).
Gloria Black – Designer & Team Creator: Gloria Black, an interior designer and artist from Chicago (now calling South Florida home), fused her creative genius with our building expertise to craft a dog house that’s as beautiful as it is functional. Your dog’s style just got a major upgrade.
Brandt Henning – Architect (Hlevel Architecture): Brandt Henning, a Florida-registered and NCARB-certified architect, designed The Woof Lodge with a focus on both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity. After all, a dog house deserves a strong foundation, and we’re all about laying down the best.
Jamie Chang – Real Estate Agent (Premier Sotheby’s International Realty): Jamie, a Luxury Real Estate Advisor with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, brought her marketing magic to make sure The Woof Lodge gets the attention it deserves. From premier listings to premier dog houses, Jamie knows how to sell a property—whether it has a pool or not.
How you can support the Bark & Build SNIP Collier Fundraiser
Supporting SNIP Collier through Bark & Build is a cause we’re paws-itively excited about. The funds raised will go toward building SNIP Collier’s Immokalee Campus, which will help rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home even more animals in need. With SNIP Collier’s incredible work in our community, we’re proud to lend a helping paw (and a few power tools) to this effort.
Here’s how you can get involved:
- Attend the Gala: Tickets to the SNIP Collier Annual Gala are $200 per person and include dinner, live music, and a chance to bid on some truly unique dog houses, including The Woof Lodge!
- Bid on The Woof Lodge: If you’re interested in making The Woof Lodge your dog’s new home, head to the live auction at the gala and place your bid. All proceeds benefit SNIP Collier.
- Donate: Can’t make it to the event? No worries! Consider donating directly to SNIP Collier—every little bit helps these pawsome folks continue their vital work.

Who is SNIP Collier?
SNIP Collier is a dedicated organization working tirelessly to improve the lives of animals in Collier County. Since its inception, they’ve spayed and neutered over 14,000 animals, helping to address the pet overpopulation issue in the area. Beyond this, SNIP Collier is on the ground every day rescuing abandoned and neglected animals, advocating for stronger animal welfare laws, and educating the community on proper animal care.
Their work includes:
- Rescuing chained dogs (illegal in Collier County).
- Saving moms with litters and finding homes for puppies.
- Providing a low-cost spay and neuter clinic and mobile clinic for remote and underserved communities.
Looking ahead, SNIP Collier plans to expand its reach by establishing a full-time presence in Immokalee, transforming an unused county shelter into a vital resource center for rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing animals.
The Bark & Build SNIP Collier fundraiser will support phase one of the Immokalee Campus, helping SNIP Collier continue their mission and grow their impact.
